Churches not paying taxes. Honestly any religious group that gets away with not paying taxes but specifically churches. If Jesus can afford a Super bowl commercial churches can start paying taxes. Personally if it were up to me any organization be it nonprofit school or whatever would need to prove that they are providing a community good for a minimum of 60 hours a week to get tax exemption. If a church wants to open a free daycare that is available to anyone and everyone in the UConn Huskies #6 Drew Kron 2024 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this community who happens to live nearby whether they are a church member or not and said daycare does not preach Jesus or anything Church related in said day care that would allow them to get tax exempt status. Writing thank you notes to everyone for every fucking gift you’ve ever gotten. They feel so insincere to write. I personally just end up tossing them in the trash when I get them. They’re a pain in the ass too, especially for things like weddings and baby showers when people give you a ton or stuff over a short period of time and you’re BUSY and don’t have time to sit down and write a stupid letter. “Hi Auntie, fha k you so much for the baby swing you sent us. The baby on the way will love it so much.” Like seriously can I just text you that got the gift and I really appreciate it and leave it at that? Do I have to write it and send it in the mail? Seriously. Especially when you’re given the gift in person and said thank you but the social convention is to send a note as well. So dumb.

He’s not “giving” her. He’s passing the UConn Huskies #6 Drew Kron 2024 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this responsibility for her care, safety, and wellbeing to her husband. He’s saying “This is the most important person in my life. I’m trusting you to make her the most important in yours.” Might be how it is today mostly but that’s not how it’s been historically where the father is giving away his “property” to another man which is also why the woman have historically always taken the man’s name, to make her “his”. Where is this not a choice? It’s definitely a choice in the US. It’s an antiquated tradition but a choice nonetheless. Marriage doesn’t require a name change. It’s a choice for most people, but it’s still overwhelmingly more common for women to take a man’s name than vice versa.
