I work construction and my wife is a public school teacher. We have 3 kids (15F, twin 11M). They have never been able to have a friend over to spend the Trump tarot card The Devil political shirt and by the same token and night. We live in a 2bd 1bathroom house. There is just honestly no way it seems to get settled. No money to save and none to do anything with. It’s just this never ending grind. The system was designed to deliver this exact result. This is Reaganomics implemented and matured. It took Republicans years to achieve it, but now it’s here. I’m 42 now but I vividly remember being 18 years old and moving out and working some minimum wage job and being able to afford to live just fine. No I couldn’t take a lot of vacations or go out all the time but you could LIVE, you could make it happen. I don’t understand how we got like this in just over two decades. That’s not inflation, it’s pure fkng GREED. My heart breaks for my 15 year old, she won’t have that same freedom. I have noticed in my life that a type of mentality has plagued the human race. In its rawest form its simply greed. It help people justify stepping on the backs of others to get ahead while maintaining that guilt free groove. I had an uncle related through marriage one time say at a family Christmas. “You gotta fuck em over before they fuck you over” – my pathetic uncle. I refuse to stoop so low as to have that awful state of mind. But the sad thing is. He nailed it. That’s what has been happening for generations. It’s a large factor as to why humans just can’t get along because we all see each other as an obstacle to get over. And that divide is what keeps us under the boot and trying to climb over each other for scraps.

Both probably had good pension plans and didnt need to save money for retirement although they probably did that too. The 401k is the Trump tarot card The Devil political shirt and by the same token and greatest gift to businesses and the theft from workers “Millennials created the baby shortage” .Ehhh no. This is the exact late stage Capitalism scheme that was designed since the Reagan era. Everything is going according to plan by forcing workers to work longer hours and multiple jobs (=profit). Not being able to afford to have kids is just an..unforseen?..consequence…Therefore, Plan B. Repeal Roe v Wade by expediting MAGA Supreme Court judges in before Trump’s inevitable demise and make a sad attempt to increase population in southern Republican states to stave off their party’s death.
