Edited: corrected a typoI am an Amal Jythoi alum and I had commented on a previous post about the Trump Riding Unicorn Menorah Jewish Hanukkah Chanukah shirt Besides,I will do this Ajce situation giving a rough idea what goes on there. Shradha’s unfortunate demise has brought to light many of the major issues at the college. Let me elaborate a few instances: Slut shaming and misogyny: Students are allowed to wear colour dress on Saturdays. Literally on our first day of orientation, the principal started going on rant about how jeans are low class and how girls wear leggings to sexually arouse men. On Saturdays in front of hostel, the warden would stand, scanning students from head to toe, if they are found to wear leggings, jeans or have no shawl, they are instructed to go back and change. The warden of girls hostel was a nun. Avar namade ilatha ammayi ammaye vare theri vilikum. Any girl who dresses fashionably or is outspoken is seen as azhinjathakaari.

Separation of Genders: I once had to get something signed from the Trump Riding Unicorn Menorah Jewish Hanukkah Chanukah shirt Besides,I will do this principal. I went to his office and after giving the sign, he just started casually talking. He started ranting about how girls and guys who are friends should not be physically close like putting hand over shoulders etc and how it would not be a good look when marriage proposals come. He went on about how they selected his son’s wife. They rejected girls who were outgoing on social media, had male friends, drank(personal preference I don’t mind). The management always scans the campus for any girls and guys who are sitting alone and talking. Ithiri krimi kadi kooduthal anengil they will approach they girl and guy and start questioning. The Manager Achan’s room has cctv display from where he sits and scans and does all this.
