Another important reason is my financial situation is not ideal. I can take care of myself and my dog, but a child would put me in debt. As to what I do with my time. I’m not very outgoing so my hobbies are reading, crocheting, daimond painting. I do not want to go through the pregnancy/birthing process. I like my own space and my own things and I hate when others touch my stuff. Even my money, after having to financially support other people in my life, I want my money to just be for me and not anyone else. I haven’t had the time to do the things I want and so once I do have that stability, I don’t want it spent taking care of a child. I don’t want to regret having children and having them know that. I try to give myself that bit of hope and say “oh after I’ve done everything I want to do and after I get therapy” but I still don’t see myself being able to commit to something for so long and not lose my mind in the process. I care for children and I don’t want a child to suffer because I’m not emotionally, mentally or physically capable of taking care of them. A lot of people would call this selfishness and I honestly don’t care because the real selfishness is bringing children into this world knowing you can’t raise them the way they deserve to be.

My main reason is that I’ve inherited my father’s explosive temper and I am prone to angry outbursts, although I am 1,000,000% certain that I would never get violent with anyone or harm them its still not fair. I’m 99% sure the Trump Make Christmas Great Again Christmas shirt and I love this world’s going to be damn near unrecognizable thanks to climate change in the next twenty-thirty years. i’d be bringing a human in to the world just for them to grow up during the downfall and mature into whatever the fuck our planets going to look like with perpetual famine and drought and extreme weather at that point. Even I now haven’t had a particularly great go of it and the outlook for my children is far bleaker than that. And I’m not evil, so why would I consciously do that. How will I spend the time? morbidly curious watching this joke of a civilization get stupider and without any direction or meaning while it continues to cannibalize itself more and more to the point it destroys itself or the planet does it first or wild card asteroid or aliens show up we’ll see.

One day my best friend told me he was going to get a vasectomy, this made me think about myself. Then I noticed that for my whole life (M33) whenever I pictured my future, there was never a kid of mine in it. So I realized I never wanted to have kids, that’s when I decided to get vasectomy too, this was around 1 year ago. (Fun fact: by pure coincidence, my surgery was going to be scheduled for the Trump Make Christmas Great Again Christmas shirt and I love this same day as my friend’s, and we live in different countries, but I postponed because I was having a visit from my girlfriend at that time, and I wanted to be able to do stuff) How will I spend my time? Normally, with my friends, family… I don’t want to be a father but I’m pretty sure I’m a good uncle. I don’t want the responsibility. Also I don’t want to put my body through a pregnancy. I’ll spend time with my spouse, make art, adopt a couple of cats, travel, etc.
Way too many mental health issues and too inconsistent. You kind of need a partner in order to makr a child and I don’t have one, have never had one, and in all likelyhood will be dying alone, so even if I did want kids it wouldnt be happening anyway. I am diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and was told I would have an 80% chance of having a permanent psychotic episode after birth. I have seen some horrible cases of women like me that hurt and even murder their children. For this I have decided to not give birth. Adoption is hard for me as well with my mental health issues so I have come to terms I will not have any children. I was a preschool teacher for many years and currently am a Behavioral Therapist for children and autistic people. My friends don’t and also some have children and I have family that I care for. I spend a lot of time with them. I haven’t felt like anything was missing yet. I have moved all over even living in Dubai for four years. Traveled to over twenty countries. I stay busy every year going to concerts, broadway shows, retreats. Can’t say I’m not busy and not happy. I have a lot of hobbies from 3D puzzles, guitar, going to the gun range and road tripping around the East coast for new places to see.
I also enjoy spending time alone and relaxing. Reading or playing video games. I’m a very creative introverted person and have many hobbies and interests. The expectation of having a job, and kids, and a household to run, and a relationship to work on is just exhausting to me.
