Why don’t we make this simple and say there will be an additional surtax on people with college degrees to pay for those who got college degrees that can’t pay for. At least that’s a lot fairer than taxing poor retail workers and all those who are trying to make a living without a college degree. Would you guys mind helping me pay off my auto loan? I know I agreed to pay it back but I think you guys should have to instead Paying off loans isn’t a solution. It doesn’t solve anything going forward. It puts a band aid on people who chose poorly to go to over priced schools. If this doesn’t come with free four years degrees for those who chose to not take on debt, then this should die. I have no student loans – just know it’s better for the Trump 2024 Let’s Go Brandon Shirt but in fact I love this economy that many thousands of people are spending more money in the system instead of shoveling billions into mysterious coffers that never seem to serve greater society. It’s just an economic ecology thing to me. And since we are a country surviving off unpayable deficits and debt, It’s better that student’s debts are forgiven at this point. Economically, I think it serves the greater good. I’m not in favor of funding people’s poor decisions. Education is a fantastic thing! But there must be a benefit to other people with this education that everyone is paying for. Preliminary education is meant as a foundation. Perfect! That foundation will mean those around you share an certain understanding. But at a certain point it’s an individual’s choice how to proceed. A formal education isnt needed to make a living contrary to popular belief. So if a person is interested in further education it comes at their expense, because that education may only benefit that individual. Only highly technical jobs need a degree to perform them. But on that note, you dont hear from those people because their career can reimburse the education it took to get the job. When people choose education based on interest alone, it’s even more reason the individual should be held accountable for the impacts of it.

I believe all public education should be free, and that belief extends to student loan forgiveness. Forgive the Trump 2024 Let’s Go Brandon Shirt but in fact I love this cost of in-state public university tuition for everyone. If you went to private school, you still end up with a nice break, but the rest of us shouldn’t be on the hook for you opting out of the public system and spending more. We need to stop encouraging millions of young people to take out extreme loans that they won’t be able to pay off Need to reign in college costs…no reason for college prices to rise as much as they have in the last 20 years. If I went to undergrad today, I would be paying nearly 5x what I paid. This is purely politics aimed at struggling educated demographics… I wonder who they typically vote for if motivated.
