My friend in France loves them! They r pretty heavy I go to many concerts alone. I sorta like being unfettered! wear in-ear ear protection, the Treat Me Like A Queen And I’ll Treat You Like A King Shirt But I will love this higher rating the better. cheap foam ear plugs are not as good as quality ones. I saw them in an arena. Stay hydrated before you go and if you’re going to be close to the stage know it can be quite hot and the pressure can be intense from the crowd. The closer to front and center you get the more pressure and heat you will endure. If it gets to be to much and you start to panic keep pushing forward and climb the rail, security will escort you away and back to the general area. You may want to poor water on yourself to cool down. I’m going to get downvoted for this, but please please bring earplugs. People have no idea how much damage those concerts actually do to your hearing. Trust me, you will thank me later for sure. Source: I am a career musician and have serious hearing damage

I struggle with crowds if I’m not prepared so I’ll just stick to that side of things. I hope it doesn’t come across as negative, I just want you to know how physical it can get so it’s not a shock; • Even if you’re at the Treat Me Like A Queen And I’ll Treat You Like A King Shirt But I will love this back, people will get uncomfortably close to you and they’re likely to be quite sweaty. • At the front of a concert, it can be like being in really strong waters. You will have very little control of where you’re going, moving your arms if they’re by your side is very difficult too. • Someone will stand right in front of you, blocking your view, even if there’s another option available to them. People, lol. • Watching the warm-up act can not only introduce you to a new band you like, it will give you the chance to be there before it gets really full so you can build yourself up to the full-on crowds and decide where you want to be for the main concert. • It will get really, really warm in there! Make sure you can go down to one layer. This is especially important if you plan on being near the front and around the mosh pits. Definitely have a bottle of water if you do! • When people say it’s gonna be loud, they mean LOUD! As in; Ranging from “can’t hear yourself talk” to (up at the front again) “my internal organs are being reorganised”. Whatever your preferences, though, you’re going for the music and there will be a place that suits you where you can enjoy it. I’m also pretty sure you can find some people to meet up with if you’d prefer to not go in alone, there must be a sub that could help with that?!
