Everyone else dresses up or undresses themselves in private. this, I’ve seen basically everyone in my family naked and it doesn’t bother me, it’s not like they’re lounging around nude getting their ass sweat on the couch. it’s usually because we’re in such a rush for an event that putting on clothes isn’t a priority when you need to tell someone to make sure to put a specific item in the car or something, plus to save on water I’d take baths with my siblings til we were too big to all fit in the tub. I think it’s fine to be nude as long as you have reason to be. that said I still try to avoid being nude around family as it’s not courteous to have my weiner flopping about as I rush to get laundry done. Weird as in atypical? Sure. But I don’t think that’s a problem though; It’s not like he’s helicoptering in front of kids at Disney World. There’s not really anything inherently sexual or bad about being naked. So if he and is family are fine with it, cool.

My husband does this. Honestly was very jarring for me. But one thing I appreciate about him is he is less much less self-conscious and convention bound than I am. And has little to no body shame, which is really precious in our culture. I don’t see anything wrong with being naked. I think its completely natural and I think its really stupid that we treat it as such a taboo thing. That said, it also costs me zero dollars to respect other people’s boundaries and make them comfortable. I’m not gonna sit here and fight for my right to be naked whenever I want, its just not a hill I care to die on. Agreed.
