Friends is a product of its time. The reason Trainspotting characters Friends TV show shirt seems overrated now is because it’s an old formula that is getting pushed off of TV slowly (crummy one-liners and laugh tracks). The thing about it is that, when it came out, it had a very uncommon plot and set up (at the time). Most sitcoms of the 80s and 90s were based on a family, and they celebrated family values, except for shows like Seinfeld. Friends was about young adults trying to get by with their lives. It’s a cliche and tired set up now, but at the time it was fresh.

A lot of the popularity it still holds is usually either a) people who originally watched it when it was on air, so they enjoy it already, and b) young people who relate to Trainspotting characters Friends TV show shirt. Nostalgia and comfort are why I watch. When I’m just trying to fall asleep or want something on in the background, friends or Seinfeld for that matter, are easy choices for me. I grew up with my parents watching both shows and so it brings a certain level of comfort as well as that nostalgic feeling of that era based on how everyone acts and dresses. Not something I watch regularly but definitely a show I still will tune into occasionally.

This is exactly why I watch it. Because I enjoyed when it first aired and I don’t usually just watch, more like it’s in the background while I’m doing mundane chores. It’s one of those shows that’s listed as something you can watch and never pay attention to while still getting whatever is going on. I really connect to what you’re saying about comfort and childhood. I’m the same way with Seinfeld. I don’t think I’ve met anyone else who watched Fraiser. I’m 27 now but I used to watch Trainspotting characters Friends TV show shirt in college. I just love the high brow humor. Every time I see it again, I catch more references as I mature and become more worldly. What a brilliant show.
