I made my first video a little over a year ago to show a fellow redditor one of my growing techniques. I had no intentions of starting a channel and knew nothing about YouTube. I’m very surprised to say that my channel has grown to 15,000 subscribers in the Touch Dump Football TOuch Dump Murray Moe Dakota T-Shirt besides I will buy this last year. Surprised in part because I was (and still am) YouTube naive, but more so because I was completely out of action for 7 months. I started dealing with health problems again last June and didn’t post a single video until just recently. In fact, I probably went a full four or five months without even logging in or opening my app. I was really bummed because I thought for sure my channel would be dead due to my absence. To my surprise, I had grown over 10,000 subscribers and was still getting about a thousand new subscribers each month.

I’m doing better now and I’m trying to get back into the Touch Dump Football TOuch Dump Murray Moe Dakota T-Shirt besides I will buy this swing of things. I’d actually like to turn this into a full-time thing if at all possible, but I know that’s extremely hard with the niche I’m in. Since I wasn’t actually planning to start an active channel, I took a very unorthodox approach to making videos at first. I knew nothing about YouTube and was only making videos to teach other people how to garden, so I didn’t follow any of the traditional “YouTube rules.” I did barely any editing, if any, with my first few videos. I didn’t even know that a CTR existed, let alone all of the other YT metrics. I was posting videos every day, sometimes multiple times per day. I didn’t follow the “YouTube Rules” but I was posting consistently every day within my niche, and I think that must’ve helped. People started subscribing, a couple of my videos are near the 100k point, and I average about 2500 views per day. Most of my videos are “how to” educational videos and so they follow a similar format. I’ve spent my career in education and sales, so I do an okay job at presenting topics in a simple, easy to follow way.
