What’s worse is that the Top thank you Coach Nick Saban Alabama football shirt also I will do this amount of money it costs our healthcare system to treat these various frostbite injuries is far more than it would cost to prevent them in the first place. There are homeless shelters. Many are drug free so the ones who are addicted try to not use and become more aggressive. The shelters get filled up and there’s a lot of tension and aggression and people can get kicked out. Others try to bunk down in sides of buildings where they’re not allowed, or behind dumpsters, or literally inside walls. Others make cozy camps using a lot of cardboard and such for insulation. Those with dogs give their dogs sweaters and extra food and wrap them up in blankets – they’ll freeze before they let their dogs. My city has some homeless encampments and they take care of each other there. During the day they often will hang out inside restaurants like Panera or grocery stores and such to keep warm. Some of them who have been homeless for a long time (years) have a couple shopping carts filled with equipment and seem to be perfectly content (shoutout to Jimmy). Some of them will fake emergencies to go to the ER (sometimes multiple times a week) because they know they’ll get food and a warm bed to sleep in overnight.

I say all of the Top thank you Coach Nick Saban Alabama football shirt also I will do this above as a security guard who has dealt with the homeless population quite a bit over the past year. In Kansas City, a lot of them abuse the local safety net hospitals and check in for suicidal ideation or other “medical”issues. They get “2 hots and a cot” for at least a day. Canadian here, in my younger days we used to do a lot of camping in the winter, with the right dome tent, a staked down tarp and some snow on top for insulation you’d really be surprised how warm a tent can be if you have insulation between you and the ground. The coldest I went camping was about -32C, biggest thing you have to worry about is… Air, with the tarp and snow you can basically make the tent air tight and I’d prefer to live… This works especially well if you set everything up on bare ground before the snow hits. Rake a bunch of leaves to where the tent will be set up, put a tarp over those leaves, set your tent up on the tarp and you have a decently comfortable/insulated floor. set up the tent, put the tarp over it and now rake leaves all around the base of the tent about twice as deep as the snow will be, that’ll create a barrier between the areas of the tent you’ll likely touch (with your feet if sleeping) and the cold cold snow…
