My kids’ needs will come first even if I have to demolish all my plans and comfort. Anything for a chance that my kids grow up healthy and wish to have me close. Mostly, telling them I love them. I was 42 before my Mother said she loved me and that was only in response to me saying it to her. Also my parents, when we were in public, would always say ‘That man will say something if you don’t stop doing X’ or ‘That woman will come over and shout at you’.
