They’re food-handlers that don’t require food-handler permits. I think a lot of it is reporting bias. Not too many posts about how content someone is. Yes, there’s some bad experiences. Pandemic increased delivery usage as a way of life, and growing pains there. Mostly, though, the bad eggs have filtered out compared to what I’d expect and even compared to 3-4 years ago. Especially when you have costumer’s messaging you demands before you even arrive at the restaurant. Though, on the other hand, I kind of understand on account of them being screwed over by PoorDashers so many times. Reading them here sucks. I hate hearing them from the customer or restaurant the most though. I almost feel guilty it’s a weird feeling. Glass half full I get a lot of praise and “best dasher ever” or “ best dash experience I’ve ever had” been sent some nice extra tips after the fact too. Most of which already tipped decent or well enough. Do better people.
