This episode really solidified my belief that Sasha Colby just has to win this season. I thought they all did really well I’m mad as hell we didn’t get to see them filming the upside down solos!!! I want more Kimchi-falling -off-a-table behind the scenes stuff vs. a tearful 40 min runway. They are going to EAT at the lip sync for the crown! I CANNOT wait to see them rematch and face off at the final 2! I’m genuinely trying to come at this from a place of no bias but I found Sasha’s verse the best by a long a shot ? surprised to see that not be the case on here, but that’s totally fine lolol. I actually hate that they hyped up the top 3 so much…I genuinely thought there was going to be one and I was so disappointed Loved Luxx and Sasha’s verses the most, but with Sasha’s I had to rewind to listen the words cause I was honestly MESMERIZED by her look and presence. Also it’s nice to see how much Ru loves Sasha. She loves them all but there’s just a lot of respect you can see in Ru’s eyes for someone like Sasha. It’s great. I’m really blown away thinking about Sasha’s trajectory and storyline. Thinking about how we got to see not only her amazing talent but also a very sweet, kind and endearing personality, extremely welcoming (she’s mother) and warm. It’s very very very rare to see both of these on the same entertainer and this makes me feel like Sasha is a once-in-a-generation kind of drag performer so to me it feels like it would be such a let down if she doesn’t win this season. Her relationship with drag, the transformative power she crafts from the art form, the kindness and the excellence makes her a perfect Drag Race (and honestly drag in general) ambassador.
