Teachers need to be trusted and actively supported to take personal property from students if that property is disruptive or harmful to the Top bluey Magic Claw Has No Children His Days Are Free shirt besides I will buy this educational experience. If a teacher claims something is true about students and their behavior/actions then as the adult in question they should be assumed to be telling the truth unless proof to the contrary is evident. Students need to do foundational skills before they can synthesize. Read, repeat, recognize, then you can create. Assuming that any lesson that isn’t about synthesis is “lower order thinking” and therefore a bad lesson is fundamentally flawed. Parents need to parent their fucking kids. If your kid is constantly an asshole even after consequences and effort is made to address it, that’s your problem and they should be kicked out of the school and left to parents to deal with.

Hire more teachers. Hire more aides. Invest in buildings that have heating, air conditioning, proper lighting, etc. But I think a lot of the Top bluey Magic Claw Has No Children His Days Are Free shirt besides I will buy this issues come from socioeconomic inequality and inequity generally, and an erosion of community generally in ways that aren’t obviously linked with schools. If you’re looking for a solution, I’d personally start with advocating for “third spaces” in your local municipality or county. NIMBYs aside, it’s not a particularly political or contentious issue but third spaces provide a ton of benefits for kids especially. I can think of all of possible small fixes–re-involving parents, exposing students to the world earlier, no more for-profit education, smaller classrooms and/or more professionals in the classroom–but, end of the day, nothing about America really allows for any changes to be more than piecemeal without an American society that FULLY–not just loudly–knows that education is a requirement for keeping this thing running, full stop.
