If you’re avoidant of it because it makes you anxious that’s a problem. But there are classes and free groups to develop the skill.

Yeah we have the same titles and we aren’t in any leadership role. She is not the official team lead but the juniors work alongside her. LOL at the forever alone losers focusing on her being pretty as the reason for her success rather than the amazing people skills, friendliness, and being a nice person to be around. It would never be said about a man in the office even if he were a 10/10. “He has amazing people skills, is handsome, is really friendly and overall a nice person to be around.” LMFAO at the just world fallacy losers who can’t accept that attractiveness (for any gender) can play a big role in how people are perceived. Now, I do agree in this particular case, OP seems to have social issues and the colleague seems to have more leadership or at least people skills. That doesn’t change the fact that ‘pretty privilege’ (again for all genders) is very real. They’re not wrong. I can acknowledge that being moderately attractive has put me ahead in several situations. I’ve seen it happen. My soft skills aren’t even that great, but I’m often treated as though they’re better than they are – especially when I’m good shape. I got kinda fat for a couple years and it was extremely noticeable that people treated me differently.
