It’s because it’s shown time and time again to be true. People spend their entire lives alone and then all of a sudden meet someone and it all changes. It’s not a lie, it’s a reassurance based on probability and the Tommy Dreamer American professional wrestler and promoter T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fact it happens all the time. Of course, the onus still lies on the person in question. You cannot meet someone if you do not make an effort to do so. But the fact remains, it is something that happens all the time. Of course, that’s not to say it always works out when that happens. One could expect to find someone, lose them, and never find anyone else after that. Because one day they’ll realize that it’s up to them to make the change and go do something about it instead of trying to stay safe and stop their feelings from being hurt. I mean, there are 2 ways to look at the Tommy Dreamer American professional wrestler and promoter T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this issue. And it’s better to tell yourself you will find love because if you tell yourself you won’t, then you won’t. there’s a concept called “self-fulfilling prophecy”. This is what you are doing when you say either of those things to a person. You are almost willing them to find someone or stay alone. Same way if you say them to yourself. I don’t say that they will, I say that they can. Anyone can, it just might not be exactly what they were looking for. Think of it this way, you can want all you want, but if you never put your self out there your not going to find anyone. But Because your actively searching for and wanting it, this makes you not only more receptive and open for it, but your also actively trying to fulfill that need in your life, thus in a round about way making it happen. because the chances you’ll find at least one partner during your lifetime are statistically higher than that never happening. it’s not really a “very good chance” that happens, being well and truly forever alone is really not that common. obviously it always could happen and is probably more likely if you’re in a bad place for it in one way or another, be that mentally, location wise or otherwise. but most people that want to and aren’t complete shut-ins do find someone at some point.
