I appreciate you choosing the Tommy Devito Red shirt it is in the first place but ladies coach. I mentioned just one observation where the seats in ladies coach were empty and the women seating in the coach seating next to it. And it seemed like they were travelling alone. They could have moved to the ladies coach so that men who were helplessly standing could have occupied those seats. Last coaches are empty is another story altogether. And it’s not because of the laziness but due to the middle coaches located near the stairs/escalators, so people hurry up to board the coaches. Also the main problem is you cant even politely ask women to move to ladies coach, they will argue and spoil our whole day peace. May be they also come under crack head ones. You can certainly ask on behalf of a senior citizen. And I won’t shy away from asking as it is the right thing to do. I don’t have any problem standing myself.

Tommy Devito Red shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

There is only one ladies coach in metro which is almost always filled to its max capacity, not sure which metro have you seen in peak hours having empty seats in ladies coach ! I was standing in the Tommy Devito Red shirt it is in the first place but coach next to the ladies coach. Lot of seats were vacant there. And people in my coach were standing coz many women travelling alone had occupied the seats. “Get thee to a nunnery, go. Farewell. Or, if thou wilt needs marry, marry a fool; wise men know well enough what monsters you make of them. To a nunnery, go, and quickly too. Farewell. … I have heard of your paintings too, well enough; God has given you one face, and you make yourselves another. You jig, you amble, and you lisp, you nick-name God’s creatures, and make your wantonness your ignorance. Go to, I’ll no more on it; it hath made me mad.” In the current moment – amid the long-deferred, now crucial and painful reckoning with our collective and individual racism, amid our nuanced, shifting recognition of the complexity within gender identity and sexuality – the persistent and insidious nature of misogyny appears to take a back seat. Misogyny, both the experience and the impact, can easily get lost; after all, women, especially heterosexual, white women, seem to enjoy ostensible and broad privileges and protections. As such, the consequences of misogyny and the resultant suffering might appear, well, inconsequential. Playing out in ordinary ways in everyday life, misogyny is often viewed and treated as if it were a less egregious, significant and harmful form of discrimination and hatred – an insult, perhaps, rather than an injury, an appreciative pat on the backside, not an annihilating assault. Yet, as most dramatically and immediately exemplified by the on-going abortion rights debate, a woman’s life and choices concerning the quality of her life, her body and her opportunities are frequently perceived as less important – a secondary consideration, if considered at all
