To visit the To My Amazing Daddy THanks For Putting Up With My Mom Pitbull American Flag Shirt moreover I love this Stone Barns Center for Food Agriculture is to venture into the epicenter of the farm-to-table movement. Located on 80 acres of land in Westchester county, the organization and its research is staunchly dedicated to sustainable food practices. The center grows over 200 varieties of vegetables and raises chickens, geese, sheep, pigs, and bees using slow-food processes and zero pesticides, herbicides or chemical additives. The facilities themselves, or the “Stone Barn,” was formerly a dairy barn on the Rockefeller’s Pocantico estate before David Rockefeller and his daughter Peggy repurposed the space in 2004. Stone Barns’s visitor programming and volunteer opportunities run year-round. Though there was a more extensive offering pre-pandemic, the center still offers tours of the farm. After your visit, a meal at Blue Hill, where much of your meal was sourced onsite, is a must. A 30-minute drive from Stone Barns is The Bedford Post Inn, a charming hotel with a quiet celebrity tie as it’s partly owned by Westchester resident Richard Gere. The historic property, which dates back to the 1860s, features only eight rooms and most come outfitted with working fireplaces. There are also three restaurants onsite and a yoga studio. Flagstones lead you to the nearby woods for nature walks and then back to the inn, where you’ll find a pool on the grounds.

“Hopelessly out of date, and proud of it,” reads the To My Amazing Daddy THanks For Putting Up With My Mom Pitbull American Flag Shirt moreover I love this Instagram bio of Ronnybrook Farm. “We’re a 3rd generation family Dairy Farm in Hudson Valley, NY!” The brand, whose glass-bottled milks you might have spotted in Tristate area farmer’s markets, invites guests to their property in Ancramdale, New York. There, visitors can see where the magic happens—per the New York Times, Ronnybrook’s products are the “Dom Perignon of Dairy.” The farm is dedicated to giving its Holstein cows the good life, and guests can meet the bovine beauties year-round. In the summer months, they’re found grazing outside in the Hudson Valley pastures. In the colder months, they stay cozy in the barn. Also on the tour, visitors can see how Ronnybrook bottles and makes its butter and yogurts. A 20-minute drive from Ronnybrook, you’ll find the storied Troutbeck. If the hotel kept a guest log, flipping back would reveal such names as Mark Twain, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. It’s an architectural showpiece inside and out, with Champalimaud Designs behind the warm and welcoming mood. New to the hotel is its wellness barn, which hosts spa services (acupuncture, massages) and workout classes (Tai Chi, yoga, tennis) on a limited, socially-distanced basis.
