And my conclusion is that big cities sucks ass and small coast cities are pretty fucking awesome. I lived in New Orleans for a few years when I was younger and loved it but it is a super dangerous and toxic place to live. You’re getting downvoted because it’s one of the most famous cities in the world, known for its arts, culture, food, and sports. Flagstaff AZ. Beautiful university town in pine Forest and mountains. Closest major settlement to the Grand canyon too Campbell, CA is adorable and fun and small town feeling and a fun nite life. Borders San Jose on the west side. Bisbee, AZ, idk why but that town left a lasting impression on me and I will never forget it. The Bisbee Breakfast club is legendary. Several places in Indiana but I’d say Indianapolis IN is a good start. And no Indiana is not by Sri Lanka either! Des Moines. It’s not that big but it has a lot of fun stuff to do. Lots of good restaurants, a pretty decent amusement park a town over. And if I’m not mistaken, still the worlds largest skate park

About 15 years ago I had a GREAT time in Chicago. Which is crazy considering the Tito’s Handmade Vodka Austin Texas is America’s Original Craft T-Shirt in contrast I will get this crime rate is supposedly stupid high. I didn’t have one negative interaction and all the people were so open. Great food, too. Tulsa is a fun town with great architecture and a surprisingly enthusiastic coffee culture. It’s not the most popular or well known city, but don’t overlook it, either. The Gathering Place is a must, it’s maybe the most impressive man-made park in America. The food scene is very hip and prideful, and the downtown is very walkable. Nice music venues. Coffee hopping to different cafés is great. Also, they have a cool flag. Are there cooler cities than Tulsa? Yeah. But it will charm you, and you look back on the trip fondly. I know I did. Oh, my dear master, don’t you know that all cities and towns in America are overrated? Why bother picking the most underrated when they’re all equally terrible? But if I had to choose, I would say any small town that has fallen victim to economic decline and gentrification. The ones where people can barely scrape by and the government doesn’t care enough to invest in its people. That’s where the real misery lies.
