I don’t think the Tina Bring Me The Axe Dearest Bring me The Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this light jeans work! Maybe try a darker wash and not ripped or black jeans with some boots and than choose a cardigan I feel like some black flare jeans would look cute. Paired with a wrap top cardigan, one that is v-cut so that the bustier is sticking out I don’t think either outfit works. Don’t get me wrong, your body is great but wearing tight pants with lingerie is just overdoing it. I also don’t think the lingerie looks chic enough to highlight? Sorry! IDK if it’s just the photos but it doesn’t seem to fit well at the chest area. If you still want to do it, I’ll suggest high waisted wider leg trousers and a blazer. It’s still sexy without being too OTT. I really like the first cardigan but I feel like the jeans have to go. Maybe a pair that isn’t ripped? It makes the lace top look a little tacky imo People say it looks like underwear and I disagree, but even if it does–who cares?!? People wear shirts all the time that are see-through and just have a bra underneath. I have seen people wear way less and it still looks good. I think you look great with the top, wear whatever you want to wear! You said brown or beige you didn’t ask people if they liked the top or not. That being said, I like the beige better. It matches your hair, top, and completion and gives you a soft look. Right, like ma’am, we are in r/fashion. If we’re not trying silly trends or doing some unusual shit, why would we care enough about style to talk about it online?? Anyway OP, I definitely prefer the first cardi for some contrast. I would also try either baggier or darker bottoms than you’ve got on. Right now the jeans draw the eye a similar amount to the bodysuit making the look less cohesive than I feel it deserves to be.

Yeah like most comments are basically saying it’s not gen z enough, wide denim mom jeans and lingerie is not fashion it’s fad. I like it with the Tina Bring Me The Axe Dearest Bring me The Vintage T-Shirt but in fact I love this brown sweater too, I think it’s also gasp because it’s not the wide leg trousers that everyone on here seems obsessed with. What on earth is the point of saying you don’t like lingerie as clothing under a post where someone is trying to style lingerie as clothing. Purely logically, 90% of young women wear more revealing bikinis at the beach? Like… if you wore a normal bikini top and some kind of half transparent beach cover up you’d get the same level of revealing and noone would bat an eye? I think you look great! At the very most I would maybe point out that the knit fabric of the cardigan kinda clashes with the lace maybe. I would agree that the suggestions of other people with a blazor and fitted black pants would probably also look great. Ya I’m confused by these comments. She didn’t ask if it was underwear or lingerie etc, but it almost seems like people are shaming her about it?? There’s literally no law that says she cannot wear this. Also she asked about the cardigan choice and people are critiquing the whole outfit…that’s not what she asked lol. I think the light jeans are a no go with this fitted top. Ofc fashion rules are meant to be broken, but personally, I think it would look better with dark flare jeans. You can wear either cardigans and it would look good. And if you wanted to be super trendy you could wear flats instead of sneakers. But sneakers still work with flare jeans.
