McConnell got exactly what he wanted from his unprecedented obstruction of Obama judges: either (1)succeed at blocking Dems from appointing judges, so GOP can install political sychophants when they next take power or (2) force Dems to change the Tiger symbol song simple plan shirt it is in the first place but filibuster rule and then blame Dems for that change, hoping some gullible voters join in on the blame. End it and never bring it back. It allows for one person to hold up the business of 350 million people. How it’s even legal or allowed boggles my fucking mind. So apparently now it’s the gop that wants to pack the courts? Hmm do all libs just talk out of their ass and say the other side is doing what they are? Make sure to get rid of as many checks and balances as possible so when your opponents are back in power they can ram through their agenda unhindered.

Yes, because Republicans have been famously restrained when it comes to following norms. They always let the Tiger symbol song simple plan shirt it is in the first place but Democrats lead by example. He kinda forgets to mention the reason gop removed filibuster for scotus was because Harry Reid eliminated in for any president appointee (excluding scotus nominees). Democrats started the “nuclear” option. McConnell at the time correctly said that Harry Reid and democrats would regret the nuclear option. Republicans started the “nuclear option” when they obstructed Obama’s judicial nominees in a way prior presidents didn’t face. It left Reid in an impossible position. Blaming this on Dems is victim-blaming 101. If you’re telling the story, don’t forget that the judicial system was failing at the time because the Senate refused to confirm judges. The Senate at the time did what it needed to do to prevent Republicans from leaving the country in shambles.
