I have yet to be paid enough by any job that I’m going to have a customer get a card declined for $4, lock a bunch of people in a bulletproof cell, and then taunt the Thunder bettens cats shirt but in fact I love this guy as he proceeds to have a breakdown and shoot people. I’m not going to start shooting people, but if someone preemptively locks the door on me over $4 I’m causing property damage. We have to punish the shooter because murder is not a valid reaction here. We need topunish the clerk for perpetuating the kind of society that drives people to murder after being locked in a room over $4 and taunted. They’re not equal crimes, but they are both crimes. If the clerk taunted a mentally unstable man with a gun as these statements claim, on top of illegally locking them in, I think we can spare quite a bit of anger at the clerk too.

Yes people are mad at the Thunder bettens cats shirt but in fact I love this shooter, but it doesn’t attract discussion in the same way as the unusual case about the clerk’s responsibility. There’s not much to be debated about whether or not the shooter deserves punishment. This is an interesting legal case. By locking the door, the clerk sealed innocent bystanders in with a killer, but did the clerk know he was a killer, and is it ever legal to seal anyone in? That seems like the more significant issue here. If it is legal to seal people in your store, it is permitted regardless of the outcome. The clerk was supposed to read the killer’s mind to know he would kill, unlike the string of crazies that a late-night gas station gets regularly. I assume the clerk gets death threats ten times a night which is why he is in a glassed-off safe room.
