I think our own native insecurities play into our thoughts regarding Youtube, and our ability to excel in the Those Who Live In The Shelter Of The Most High Bird Flower T-Shirt and by the same token and arena. I know sometimes I feel like I’d never be given a second look as a video blogger because I’m an average looking mix-race non-white looking guy. That only happens because sometimes It just feels like you’ve got to be a white mormon family, or teenage girl to be successful in that area, but that also isn’t true. I am loved. I am happy. So it isn’t about me. It does sting a little, but it is easier to brush that stuff off when you recognize that it doesn’t really matter what assholes think anyway. There are more people who will see my face and relate to how I look than people who will hate me for it.
