I can agree on boards level that they have almost the same difficulty(not coverage), commerce is a field of practical application and might require insane amount of hardwork to excel in it, arts on the other hand requires more hardwork for it to be somewhat useful in life… Science is all about intellect and brainstorming, you either work like an ass or a horse. The point is: Everything requires hardwork but having the resolve to work in research (at the age of 18 with a mind of an adult not the “I wanna be an astronaut” resolve, also not for people who want a 40LPA package beucase they took PCM/ they are doctor) in the field of science is more commendable than wanting to be an IAS officer and more appreciable than other high profile/profit jobs, Engineers and Doctors contribute more to the society than Historians, Businessmen or any kind of government officials that’s where the difference arises.

[taking account of all the arts/commerce students, not the prodigies lmao]. Current affairs in my opinion should be an optional subject and should not be forced onto students. Everyone works hard to get good score/life, no one is entitled to downplaying a stream, that applies to you as well, OP science students don’t have enough time to remember all the Current Affairs, you can’t comprehend the unlimited potential QP setters have with subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Math and Computer Science. Not to mention GS and CA intersects with your subjects unlike science students who are completely detached from it.
