AAA cost, mediocre at best indie game quality, 20hrs long if you stretch it, its got “horse armor” level dlc and its basically scurrying around as a crackhead. Like who the fuck thought that was the way to go. Maybe they should consider reskinning the entire game to be a creakhead simulator. You could at least explain the bugs as ‘crack effects’ and make it a feature. Game wigs out and quits? That’s the crack. Don’t do drugs kids!

I don’t believe this. I think we got a classic case of vocal minority/silent majority here. Seems people are actually ok with the This Window Never Closes Shirt besides I will buy this current state of the games industry. This used to be the case and for some genres like sports games I do believe you’re still right. But it seems bad games have been performing bad lately (as they should). Of course but the problem is TOTK (and other actually good games) are the exception today, not the norm as they should be. Nearly every major release is just trash. Brother, I assure you, major studios dropped a lot of absolutely putrid games in every decade of industry history. The flops fade out of memory over time & eventually people only remember the bangers.
