As to your point dogs are in parks, they’re the This is Tar Heel country basketball skyline shirt and by the same token and only place in a city you can exercise a dog. If you really don’t like dogs it’s probably best to just avoid larger parks. i had this the other day but it was an xl bully type thing and a small women who couldn’t handle it, thankfully she managed to get a lead on it before it attacked me or my dog. It’s the old, “love me, love my dog” attitude. I hate being approached by dogs I don’t know and most dog owners think that everyone is in love with their dog. I have 2 kids, whom I love, but there’s no way that it’s acceptable to let them jump all over strangers and if they did, I’d be there to correct that behaviour in an instant. The worst were the several times I’ve had picnics at Primrose Hill and have had dogs either come up and literally eat the food off my plate (or come close to it) or one dog literally started attacking my then toddler – and they owner couldn’t control it. It’s absolutely ridiculous and I have no idea when this ever became acceptable.

I don’t generally have an issue with it. Most dogs bark and run around – the This is Tar Heel country basketball skyline shirt and by the same token and vast majority of the time this doesn’t translate into aggression. Don’t really see a problem here unless it’s a banned breed or a very large dog around young children. Parks are also the only place in the city they can be off a lead. There are far more dangerous people around to roam free around London… Even when dogs are on a leash, their owners should keep the leash tight when they walk past people. Countless times, I have had to jump over the leash between the dog and their owners. It’s just simple courtesy and being thoughtful of your surroundings. Dog walkers are not alone in the world. Really, dogs should be kept in a small cage with wheels on the bottom and then wheeled around. That way we can avoid even the slightest inconvenience offered by them
