I had a similar abscess once (though on my arm) and it left a small but distinct hole looking scar from where it was drained. If you’re worried you can probably get some Mederma (scar remover cream) if that’s something you’re interested in? I had a mole removed from my face (pre-cancerous), about a 1 inch incision and stitches to get it all, and used Mederma on it obsessively and now you can’t even tell. If your doctor/ dermatologist approves it, of course. I’ve never tried it on stretch marks, but I know Mederma has a stretch mark specific product (a larger tube for more surface area, though I’m assuming it’s not as concentrated as the This Is Some Boo Sheet Ghost Halloween Costume Vintage Sunset T-Shirt in contrast I will get this regular scar remover). I’ve only used the regular one and honestly it was amazing IF you stick with it. It says use once a day in the beginning but I actually used it four times a day for the first 8 weeks (it was a facial scar with stitches and I really didn’t want it to scar). And then used it once or twice a day for the next 4 months. And lots of sun protection. But by the end you can’t even tell there was a scar there anymore. Hydrocolloid bandages are proving to help with healing and prevent scars, there’s some good research on it. Then once the wound is closed you can use silicone patches
