I rarely eat out now. With the This Is My Alabama Crimson Tide Christmas Watching Shirt it is in the first place but economy gone south and things being even more expensive. I have never doordashed/uber’ed/etc. I can’t see paying a huge extra amount for delivery. Once construction works are finished and I get my larger kitchen back, I will proceed to make my own bread again and will start to make sausages and cheese myself. I already did so before I met my girlfriend, but as she has several food intolerances, basically all pre-processed foods contain substances which are toxic for her, so I don’t really have another option now anyway. My best friend and her family eat out damn near every meal- at times they even split up and go to different restaurants when they can’t agree on what they want. Now and then they will go through a ‘we need to eat more at home and save money’ kick, which lasts about 4 days.

A good friend of mine is widowed and in her 60’s. She exists off of mixed nuts, bagels with cream cheese and premade meals from the This Is My Alabama Crimson Tide Christmas Watching Shirt it is in the first place but grocery store. Another friend and family does almost entirely what they can find at Costco and Sam’s club that only requires heating. Frozen meals. Like bechamel lasagna. Or chicken pie, Sheppard’s pie. There are these cheese stuffed chickens that are pretty good. Noodles, dumplings, fries, chicken nuggets, burgers, pasta, all premade or frozen. There’s prob more tho. I do a lot of simple cooking I have a family with kids who eat a lot and we eat pretty healthily. So I cook every meal every day. We also maintain a garden so I can use our own ingredients. I prefer to have control over ingredient quality in general and don’t trust fast food or take out with that. I don’t understand how people afford to not cook honestly unless they’re just not eating much/are single. I do weekly meal prepping. So I do cook from scratch, but just reheat portions during the week. Makes it much easier. Mostly working here, 2 jobs consumes most my hours so quick foods that last long/days,stew,chili ,sandwiches especially peanut butter and jelly/jams , cereal sometimes (milk is $10), fruits , eggs and soup , etc… not much ingredients needed. Nothing better then fresh food, but tons of people eat from frozen, very cheap especially in today’s fast food market.
