That’s a REALLY cheap shot going after RBG in a “maybe coulda shoulda” kinda article speculating about how x would have been better if y would have happened, with the Third saturday in october shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this gift of hindsight. As far as I remember it used to be a tradition not to appoint a new justice in an election year, but even in that election year, probably nobody who had more than a guess could have predicted that Trump would be the next president. When someone’s gonna die is entirely speculative and she was still extremely bright. Going after RBG because of the current situation seems like such a futile and pointless act. Why even write that article? RBG was one of the few people in American politics that were able to give people hope. The system is broken but why put her in particular on blast as an example?

Third saturday in october shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

RBG isn’t the Third saturday in october shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this most responsible person for Roe getting blown up. She’s only like the 8th most responsible person. Yeah, let’s blame someone for dying rather then the Republicans who are actually killing Roe. Reddit never disappoints with it’s awful takes. By not retiring and trying to be in the court until her last dying breath really fucked over the country. Who the fuck wants to work when they’re that old she should have just retired and lived out the rest of her life while a new younger supreme Court Justice took her position. Seriously? How was she ever supposed to predict someone like Trump? And had the GOP followed their own rules that they imposed on Obama for nearly a year, they shouldn’t have rammed thru Amy coney Barrett with only weeks to go to the election. It’s the height of hypocrisy to blame this on RBG. It lays squarely at Mitch McConnell’s feet.
