Literally everybody has been saying this forever. Just goes to show how out of touch these companies are. They think that they can just tell you what you want instead. Better battery through efficiency yes but not bigger battery. Just get a powerbank / external battery if you really need it. So you have a reasonably thin and light laptop but have the Thin Red Line Firefighter American Flag Vintage Fire Rescue T-Shirt Besides,I will do this option of bigger battery through external battery pack when needed. 100%. I think we have achieved peak thinness. Thinner isn’t better at this point, and only makes it more fragile. We also don’t want smaller because we use the screens and want a good viewing size. My mom’s old phone had died. Everything was fine with it except for the fact the battery died. My dad and I took the whole phone apart just to get the battery out and let me tell you the manufacturers don’t want you taking that battery out. We managed to do it without breaking the phone and it worked fine for a few more years after that. The verge publishes this now? When people have been saying this for over 10 years? Lol I hate Vox with a passion I told Lenovo that to their face. Also pointed out that being super thin makes it super hard to replace batteries, ram, hard drive and makes the whole case flimsy and flexible all of which arent pros. They hit peak thin with the tech we have, now its time to make the laptop run for two days and have 1 screw to replace something like my dell used to have. Just make them better quality idc how thin they are. My 1000$+ MacBook should not sound like a fighter jet when I have a lot of tabs open

They used to make laptops with better batteries. I had an HP that you could pull the Thin Red Line Firefighter American Flag Vintage Fire Rescue T-Shirt Besides,I will do this cd drive and a battery would go in and there was another empty port in the back next to the battery that would fit another battery. Something everyone wanted for the last 10 years? Have enough space again for a headphone jack? Nah make it thinner. I was always against the removal of headphone jacks, but I gotta say, I have been converted. It is so much better not having a wire. Saying that, it is a pain in the arse having yet another thing that needs charging. Yep I loved the look on the salesman’s face when I told them that I routinely go on hiking/ camping trips and can be gone for up to a week. What phone do you have that can last that long in case of emergency? Yep complete deer in head light look.
