As a stand alone event is essentially nothing. An over sold company experiencing a stock price correction maybe? It’s not a stand alone event, in recent months we have company’s embrace the LGBT community in big open was and they have experienced significant backlash. Y’know, I hate going to Target because I hate hypermarts. But I need a few things — a new toothbrush holder, glass, and soap dispenser, some measuring cups. Maybe I should go to Target. Temporary and possibly just market “noise” despite what the angry triggered people will say. This will be forgotten in a month tops and isn’t even a blip on Targets radar long term. We have seen this phenomenon dozens of times. It’s going to happen to everyone. This economy is basically claiming people’s debt as money earned, and they’re inflating numbers for the economy. The stock owners are gonna be rich old white dudes because that is the group that owns like every major stock. That is also the most homophobic group. It doesn’t really affect the company’s day-to-day operations or revenue. Could mean it’s a good time to buy since the stock may have been disproportionately lowered based on personal biases and not sales performance.
