My go to cheap, quick, and flavorful meal is chicken curry (lamb or fish also work) with rice +/- beans. With an instant pot or pressure cooker, you can have at least 8 meals cooked in about 30mins. sure, my point is not that its impossible or that there arent reasonable meals that people could find time to make, my point is that people have varying degrees of free time, interest in cooking, ability to cook, or even the The Weeknd After Hours shirt moreover I will buy this equipment necessary to make meals in an easy fashion, and all of those things are perfectly valid reasons to feel restricted in your ability to eat healthily. its unfair to a great number of people to boil down a poor diet to laziness or apathy (though there are plenty of lazy people out there, too).

The Weeknd After Hours shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Having the The Weeknd After Hours shirt moreover I will buy this time to overeat is a luxury as well. I lost 20 lbs that I was trying very hard not to lose after my second son was born… Having the time to prep is not a “luxury” for any people. Every person has the time to prep food for themselves, even if you work 12 hours and have a kid. If you’re part of the tiny fraction of humanity that has 4 kids and are a working single parent, then… you still have the time to prep 3 meals a day. It’s more than understandable not to do it, but to say that you can’t isn’t true. I’m not saying for these people to “suck it up” either; prepping meals doesn’t take that long and if you do it weekly the ~hour spent doing it is literally less than if comparable to getting fast food 14 times (2 meals a day), and the price is considerably less. There’s nothing grueling about making food, it’s not very labor-intensive, and it makes you feel better and you’re healthier because of it. Do I do it every week? Nope, only sometimes when I get the motivation, but the reason why isn’t in it’s plausibility or because I’m deprived of the luxury, rather because of my own decisions. Do people have varying amounts of luxury in life? For sure, but prepping food isn’t that kind of luxury.
