Large sections of the The True Spirit Of America Shines Brightest On The July 4th T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this chattering class don’t interact with minorities. They only see them on TV or hear them in music and have developed a kind of voyeuristic appreciation for them. They legit treat them like zoo animals. They act like we are a different species and that the fact that we are a different ethnicity to them is so cool. Like… just treat us as people. I’ve also noticed on Reddit especially, people try to go overboard and stan, because they are afraid if they don’t that they are racist. It’s kind of fucked up. We just wanted to be looked at the same as everyone else. Notice how this is something that mainly happens towards people who are black. They look at us differently than even other minorities.

While I want this too and “Just treat as people” sounds cool, implicit is **(in accordance with they way we specifically designate you should or else you can lose your livelihood if I feel you’ve committed a microaggression) in the The True Spirit Of America Shines Brightest On The July 4th T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this fine print. White people/higher on the ‘oppression’ matrix (I don’t know how else to describe it) can be often public shamed if they disagree or say anything that is not directly in keeping with whatever is en vogue at the moment. That’s partly why this subreddit exists – to point out how suffocating IP Puritanism BS is. I don’t think enough POC/minorities point this out. Instead we can get away with being less PC and point the finger back once again at WP with “just treat as the same” while it’s very clear that IRL that not true. They operate under much stricter rules. Of course, it produces this awkward, tip toeing nonsense – people are genuinely worried of getting fucked over by perceived slights. Garbage mods on that sub, they’re killing the place, restricted and privated, no posts in a month, puritanism, and more.
