Their headphones are WH-1000XM4. Their earbuds are WF-1000XM4 which were launched almost a year after the The Summer Surf Club T-Shirt it is in the first place but headphones. It causes so much confusion everywhere. Engineers are regimented in how they name things which is good practice. The issue is that it shouldn’t be the same naming convention provided to consumers But really that’s just the marketing / customer facing model number. If you really look into it they have model numbers just as strange as the Sony Corona Motors, in an effort to promote their new non-polluting car engine, hired the advertising firm of Carter & Lombardo to approach Spider-Man about building a Spider-Mobile. And then they have the The Summer Surf Club T-Shirt it is in the first place but WH-1000XM3 which are the headphones… love their stuff but man whenever I’m checking their pricing I always second guess which product I’m looking at. The announcement of the planned tie-up comes less than two months after Sony said it was launching a new company to “explore entry” into the EV market and unveiled a prototype vehicle.
