2.5 month old here. We try get out of the The Show Heaven a single by Niall Horan shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this house often. I would like to say ‘for her development’, but in reality it is because I am lazy, and outings mean other things to amuse and stimulate her that aren’t me. ? Our local library has ‘wriggle and rhyme’ sessions for free. Baby will also be attending a play group, baby sensory and baby sign language next term. While it is great for her development, it is also really lovely to get out and meet other parents. They interact with my baby and our babies interact with each other, it is really great for this lazy parent. ? The most grounding thing I’ve been doing as a parent is following RIE principals. They talk a lot about letting your child be an active participant in play (not needing entertainment from adults) and supporting your children to play independently. I have read several books as well as taken some parenting courses (which are available virtually). Highly recommend!

Mine has entertained herself for 30-60 minutes at a time in the The Show Heaven a single by Niall Horan shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this baby gym since around 3.5 months old. Do they have stuff they can grab and look at independently. or is my kid some kind of unicorn? Deff a unicorn. I even rotate his toys thinking he’s bored. Annnnnddd nope. Cries as soon as I set him down. It’s like he doesn’t want to be laying down anymore Aw. Mine is like that during her witching hour of 7-8pm, or right after she eats sometimes since she has reflux. Could he be uncomfortable? I’m sure he’ll grow out of it eventually. I wish it was just for an hour. ??‍♀️ He does good for his first wake window I usually have time to rush and eat breakfast before having to entertain him but every wake window after I have to keep moving him every 10-20 mins from the floor to his chair to his activity piano to bouncing him on my legs to this toy and that toy. It’s… a lot.
