Many don’t. They see them as an extension of themselves. When people make judgements about their child, they take those as judgements on themselves. They’re my kids, I’m going to program them into my belief system!” He basically says that he doesn’t want his kids to have outside influence, and he wants his children to have the same shitty beliefs as he does. He acted like it’s all the liberal’s fault that children are tending to lean left, and sure, media may promote liberal ideas more than conservative agendas (whether you believe that’s okay to do or not is besides the point), but that can’t change the fact that family and friends have way more influence on political beliefs than the media (studies have shown this).

So when kids are presented with both liberal and conservative ideas, effectively being “programmed” with both at the The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same time (with the conservative programming coming from an outlet that is proven to be way more influential), and kids tend to agree with the liberal ideas more, can you really blame the liberal outlets? I don’t like to blatantly hate on conservative ideas, I think it’s not fair to completely disregard them as ways of thinking, but it’s clear that they are dying out as people become more aware of the world around them, they lean more left. The internet allows you to view world politics in a machine that fits in your pocket, and when kids see this, they choose liberal ideas over conservative ideas more often that not. I don’t agree with conservative ideas, and the more informed people become, the less people do.
