I recommend reading the The Rolling Stones x Baltimore Orioles MLB Hackey Diamonds Limited Edition Vinyl Collection Collab Shirt also I will do this power of now. And maybe try meditation laying down. It’s not about quoting your mind, as much as it is being mindful. Awareness of your body. Your soul. What helped me a lot is thinking about just being alive. I used to think of meditation as this state of mind you had to unlock but could never know what it was until you felt it. I tend not to focus on breathing or specific mantras or anything. I just try to sit and be aware that I am alive, and that for me has been very beneficial. That line of thought helped me get away from the idea that meditation was this very specific thing that nobody could give me a straight answer to. If you wanna check out some interesting takes on zen buddhism and the subsequent form of meditation related to it, zazen, check out HardCoreZen on YouTube. A lot of his ideas are interesting and he dispelled a lot of misinformation that I had seen on the internet

I used to have the The Rolling Stones x Baltimore Orioles MLB Hackey Diamonds Limited Edition Vinyl Collection Collab Shirt also I will do this same problem but I found out a little hack to help my racing mind to meditate. I first calm my mind by i.e. naming every country in the world, every time my thoughts wander I just go back into naming countries. When my mind is calm only after that I start concentrating on my breath. I find it more easy to calm my mind by thinking something specific rather than concentrating on something like the breath since the beginning when all kinds of thoughts pop into my mind, that never worked for me. There is a lot to unpack here. Why do you want to meditate and what do you want to achieve? Maybe write that down before your sessions. I can tell you’re a perfectionist like me, so keep in mind that you are probably too hard on yourself, being driven is good but notice when you get frustrated and don‘t react to your anger, instead notice it and decide for yourself if you want to get angry instead of getting angry immediately. It seems like you want to alleviate some symptoms, which meditation can help with but the progress is slow and it won‘t help in every case. Journaling or mind mapping emotions is much better in that case and can help alleviate emotional distress and that will ground you for better meditation sessions.
