You’re actually taking it to the ‘next level’ so to speak when you’re actively controlling your breathe during actual physical activity. The entire idea that meditation must encompass relaxation or that relaxation is the goal of it is a very narrow viewpoint and one I would recommend while listening to not taking too seriously, there are other ways to meditate and they may be much better for you than what is being described here. This was meant as a tip for BEGINNERS. The relaxing part is just to get it easier to let go of stress and to not force so many things on yourself like focusing way to hard on your breath or your thoughts or how feel in your pinky toe. Whatever comes to your attention is ok, don’t force it anywhere, just let it happen. Don’t do anything about it:)
