I generally don’t think anything about any couple, gay or not. unless they are somehow very attention grabbing. The again, my The Mad Hatter Johnny Depp Actor shirt but in fact I love this little brother is married to a man and that’s really never a topic at all, they are just in love and that’s all there is to it. If anything I’m happy to see gay couples feel comfortable enough to be openly affectionate in public. Homophobia and hate crimes still happen of course, but we’ve come such a long way. I’m bisexual though so that probably makes a difference in how I view it. I like to think most people don’t care, or are looking in a more neutral way. I don’t think much, usually I don’t even notice, I don’t tend to look or notice what other people doing around me unless I am bored. But if I notice, there is a small buzzer in my head that tells “that’s unusual” since I grew up in a place when being openly gay is not safe. Then I remind myself that it is usual and go on.

The Mad Hatter Johnny Depp Actor shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Our brains tend to focus our attention on details that are not usual, I think this is what happening. Some people may not recognize that this little buzzer is just that – a little buzzer that could be useful when there are bear tracks on the The Mad Hatter Johnny Depp Actor shirt but in fact I love this ground or a tiger hidden in the bush, but can be useless too. They are making sure you don’t have claws or fangs. Unless they’re being affectionate I probably won’t even notice. If they are my thoughts are usually “aww they look happy” which is my reaction to any affectionate. I will glance more often at ANY couple holding hands while trying to eat dinner. In my family, we use both hands to shovel the food in. One time me and SIL stood and waited for something as a gay couple walked past holding hands. My SIL is a racist and homophobic person sadly and she started going “hey! Look!” to me and after they left she started ranting. Ugh.
