Yeah I have this little tumbler I only use just because I’m tired of my cats drinking water when I’m unguarded. The plus side is that it’s really well insulated and keeps my ice for hours. lol I was just thinking this. If I left a glass of water sitting around, it’s an absolute certainty that a cat’s paw has been in it and a dog’s tongue or two. Even water coming out of my tap has cat hair in it already. Now, water sealed nicely inside a bottle lasts a lot longer in a ‘fresh’ sense.

Don’t forget to clean that water bottle too from time to time. Your lips (and your water) will still leave residue behind and it builds up. Even then, it does go weird after a while. I think if you actually drink from it, you introduce bacteria from your mouth to the water, so it does eventually go bad.
