Dude, Zoloft gave me a SHIT ton of side effects I didn’t even realize were happening until it was too late (took it for around 3 years). I took the highest dose possible of this while pregnant with both of my girls. Neither experienced any withdrawal symptoms. Sorry you’re going through this. Well, this explains why my youngest was a bit twitchy the first day or so. They kept thinking her blood sugar was low, so took blood to test it multiple times. She seemed pretty content aside from that, and now she’s very smart and talking up a storm at 18 months, so it obviously didn’t cause damage. Antidepressants have a much higher rate of withdrawal symptoms than is usually reported. I know of at least a few that reported low numbers at release, higher numbers were found later, but nothing is ever updated. And unless doctors are advised on all the current studies, they may not know either.

I don’t trust any of them anymore. I don’t judge anyone who uses them but after going through withdrawals and other negative side effects from multiple antidepressants, I’m just done for myself unless I’m ever in a significantly bad place. They have fact sheets on common meds, or you can chat, text, or call a specialist about individual questions. They were so helpful for me! The fact sheet does mention the potential for withdrawal symptoms with Zoloft but overall it is the safest and most well studied antidepressant- I’m sorry you were not given all the info from your doctors!
