As much as I criticise some of the The Jacksons band music rock michael jackson guitar T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this actions of the state of Israel, as a German historian I must make something clear at this point. The phrase “Never again” does not refer exclusively, but primarily to the Holocaust. And while I recognise the suffering of many Palestinian civilians, fortunately I don’t see the industrial killing of millions of people anywhere in the world at the moment. Anyone who believes that should take a closer look at the Holocaust. So Just Stop Oil didn’t ruin the Brandenburg gate forever with orange paint after all! If only the planet was this easy to clean. This is not about Israel/Palestine. Well indirectly since thats the origin. This is about the rising antisemitism in Germany lately, since the start of the war. It is not about the Israeli politics under their soon be dictator. It is not about the zionists that kill Palestinians in the westbank. It is about the Jews all over the world and especially in Germany that have been persecuted and killed for thousands of years.

Yes they did and that should be aknowledged, but the The Jacksons band music rock michael jackson guitar T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this Reichskristallnacht was targeting mostly jewish people, so commemorating that on the anniversary is very much appropriate. Yes, obviously. That’s important. HOWEVER the main aim always was Jews. Literally there were HUGE discrepancies between the camps that Jews were in versus all the other non-Jewish camps. Non-Jewish camps had hospitals while Jewish camps were literally being experimented on and tortured. It’s a huge fucking difference between them. Yes, more than just Jews were persecuted, but the goal was always about Jews and the most severe atrocities were reserved just for the Jews. „Never again is now“ is used as a defense by zionists all over the place rn and it even uses the same blue as israel. Ofc you can memorize the holocaust without defending israel, but this isn’t doing that. Honestly this is the first time I’m seeing this slogan, so I can’t really speak to that, but seeing it in Germany on the anniversary of krystalnacht, during a time when anti-jewish attacks and rhetoric (not just anti-israel, but truly anti-jewish as well) is actually on the rise, this reads to me as a message against the rising tide of anti-semitism. Our government is completely hypocritical. It’s great that they are showing support to the Jewish community for these horrible crimes, but Israel is doing the exact same thing as is commemorated here to the Palestinians in the West Bank. Literally zero difference. Invasion of homes, destruction of businesses and the establishment of Ghettos. And our government says nothing. This shows that it’s not about remembering and preventing crimes against humanity, but about supporting a state that is connected to the people that they themselves victimised. There is no integrity to be found here.
