Nothing. Fear for my parent’s lives. Fear for my wife working in the The Grinch Waffle House Hallothanksmas 2023 Shirt moreover I love this hospital (especially when she collapsed with Coivid). Struggling to shop for food at times. Canceling our family holiday. Ruining my 40th birthday plans. Working extra hard (I was working on some of the IT behind covid research) but now with the kids at home. So I was 24 when it started, and obviously when you’re a kid you play a lot games online with your friends. But I hadn’t done this in years so it was nice to regularly play with my friends like we did back in secondary school. Drinking over zoom calls was also fun considering there was nothing else to do. And after working all week it was nice to get to the weekend and just feel like – I can do whatever I want on my own because I can’t actually see anyone. Played alot of video games on my own too – thankfully Last of Us and Ghost of Tsushima came out that Summer, and the next lockdowns where during my 25th birthday so got a PS5 and banged out Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla in the early 2021 lockdown. Good memories! Oh I was also having crazy health problems before the lockdown. Stress caused me really bad neuro problems (still have them) but lockdown helped me alleviate many symptoms tbh.

Obviously now it’s different. Never play games with my mates anymore, always busy at the The Grinch Waffle House Hallothanksmas 2023 Shirt moreover I love this weekend too. Going back to normal had been fine, but my life hasn’t changed too much from the lockdown in the week since I’m self employed working at home – so I dictate my own schedule and usually do things alone. Both the best and worst times. I was made redundant due the company struggling and no one placing orders, so they had to let a few of us go. Last in, first out. I’d only been there a year. So I was unemployed during lockdown and although the lack of income and having to take a mortgage holiday was stressful, I had such a great time having no job! I was strangely relaxed, the weather was incredible, there was a sense of community, I made new virtual friends online, it was quiet, no one to see or place to be. I’ll always miss it. We (probably) won’t see that level of strangeness again.
