and judging by the The Grinch Texas Rangers Tis The Damn Season Ugly Christmas Shirt Furthermore, I will do this thread upvotes , which is a good average for what we usualy see on this sub , we can conclude that im not alone in my opinion that content like this is a cancer and needs to be regulated ASAP. feel free to keep on your path to support dumbification , dont expect any simpathy on the end of that road though. There’s a trap that’s easy to fall into, judging others based on how easily they attained success. You’ll feel jaded, become bitter, because life isn’t fair. It isn’t, but don’t focus on that. dont go that way , people dont form opinions just out of bitterness , they can be racionaly formed too you know? I don’t know honestly, like you make a good point and I’m very much on your side that a lot of reaction videos aren’t adding a damn thing and its taking at the very least views from the original poster (if the thing being reacted to is youtube content). But I do think there’s some reaction videos and channels that do genuinely transform the content enough that they should be allowed to monetize. Legal Eagle for example. Another example would be some of those ‘We had an X react to X scenes in movies and tv’ videos but those aren’t on the same level and are much more hit or miss where they can fall on the wrong side of the line for me, it all depends on the expert. Some of them add enough that I feel it can genuinely be considered transformative but on the other hand theres some where its just a clip from whatever and then the person giving a couple seconds of ‘yeah that’s not accurate at all’ with nothing else and then a rating out of ten.

I don’t think a blanket ban on their monetization is the The Grinch Texas Rangers Tis The Damn Season Ugly Christmas Shirt Furthermore, I will do this right move, but I do think the rules need to change and be tougher. If asmongold reacts to you and shouts out your channel he will get more views than you but you will always likely get a bump. sorry to say that is not how you should think , that´s resigning to it and taking the crumbs as the best you can get , asmongold and the likes of him create a way bigger problem than the one they solve , that is my POV. I disagree with the premise of “that’s not how I should think”. As a general statement. Also I don’t see how large creators are an issue they provide entertainment. Many paved the way. that is ok , and i didnt mean you should change your mind , wasn´t meant in that way , it was more in the form of an opinion. Definitely sounds like jealousy and I’m actually surprised by how many people agree with you. I LOVE reaction channels and have been watching some for years , why wouldn’t I want them to get paid ??? if you like them so much im sure they will be ok without ad revenue , fans like you will just support them through donations to keep them at home 24 /7 creating nothing new and stealing more from others , indeed why not pay them? probably nothing right? you like them because what they do gets them paid and you just watch , because if you had to support them yourself you would surely think twice about it unlike now.
