I occasionally pause an annoying video to study it and check the The Grinch Kansas Jayhawks Tis The Damn Season Ugly Christmas shirt But I will love this comments. Some people clearly think they’re having a relationship with someone else’s wife because she’s looking at the camera and laughing. depends, I think sssniperwolf content takes the piss out of the system & most live reactors to other people’s content should fall under reused content rules. i draw the line at say a trailer breakdown where the new work could be 3-4 times longer than the original piece. I have two gaming channels & could argue my content is somewhat original as it’s not gameplay it’s how to type content with only clips of gameplay. i personaly consider personal gameplay and heavily edited game footage to be original content, the first is obvious why , there are gameplay skills or lack of it involved , the second because it needs to exist colaboration and a lot of hard work to do it , but same as in music using others gameplay without consent should not be monetizable . using others gameplay to do a reaction video without consent and call it “transformative” and that be enough to profit from it? that falls into what my point is in this thread. i dont mean people shouldn´t do it or be banned for it ,many obviously seem to like it what i opose is how easy it is to get away with the monetization aspect of it. have you heard about the jason derulo case? yes that jason derulo , look up what is up with his reaction shorts on his YT channel and tell me if you think that is ok.

but that is the The Grinch Kansas Jayhawks Tis The Damn Season Ugly Christmas shirt But I will love this apex of a big iceberg where every bro and his nan is doing a reaction video on his room with a crappy phone cam , no real effort and zero editing skills to do whatever and racking up hundreds , or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue like the example i gave above. and as this all works more and more join the herd , completly saturating the platform and diluting the overall quality level to just above mediocre. I have a couple of gaming channels & we put a good 20+ hours into most videos we make & a ton of that time is setting up the footage we need in game. At the end of the day, Electronic Arts is well within its rights to strike all your content using its intellectual property, (as was the case with Nintendo when they went sicko on gaming channels). This is by no means a pop at you as am also in the gaming niche so it applies to me also
