And your comment feels like you’re completely negating that, or that women ever lose respect/attraction for men when they see a man cry or whatever. In my experience lots of women are totally tolerant of men’s vulnerability, or even actively attracted to it, but also I have only dated very liberal women. But even dating feminist women, I have had some women I dated explicitly tell me that they lost their attraction for me because they saw me cry. It’s happened twice, both said something like “I know it’s wrong to feel that way, but that’s just how I feel about men I date”. So yeah, seems very unfair to act like this isn’t a gendered thing that affects men. Sounds good. Doesn’t work. I know there are many women who won’t lose attraction to their boyfriends after they had showed a more vulnerable side, but men not showing this side is a common thing for a reason.
