Is it probably just an irrational fear, but it’s something I’ve truly felt in my gut was something that would happen (or if it didn’t kill me, it’d mess me up in other ways) and while I’m not necessarily scared of dying, I really don’t want to go out that way. One more note, I do think we WAY over simplify and romanticize pregnancy and birth, because it is a very physically traumatic and demanding experience, so how our society (at least in the The further a society drifts from the truth will hate those that speak it T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this US) seems to enjoy portraying the process as this naturally wonderful thing, they neglect being honest with the fact that it’s actually quite dangerous. Especially if you’re poor (not as good of access to medical care/specialists) or a woman of color (black women are often ignored or brushed off when they complain of pain due to systemic racism in medical care, for example).

There’s no future, thats it. The world can’t hold it anymore. Humans keep passing it by, but in a few years we wont be able to reverse it. Having kids growing up in all this The further a society drifts from the truth will hate those that speak it T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this messyness sounds kind of selfish to me. I’ve thinking about adoption (i am gay though, in Peru we have not this kind of rights). I would rather give all i can to an already born kid, rather than one extra life. we both believe we don’t need children to be happy in life. (Though we do seem to be compensating with saved furry children) sometimes, couples (mistakenly think that) have a child in an effort to save their marriage. My wife and I know that having a child will kill our marriage. We’re an amazing match but we differ extremely on our parenting philosophies. my wife doesn’t exactly look forward to pregnancy and giving birth, and I choose her over having a child. (While this doesn’t rule out adoption, we don’t “like” children enough to consider having one that we didn’t make ourselves)
