Every time I want to know I have to look up what day mothers day landed on in 2015. So I just did. I was shot around 2:30 AM, May 11th 2015. Seven year anniversary is about an hour away. Things are getting better. Thank you for asking. I shot myself with a 9mm at the gun range. Shooting an old car handle the bullet ricocheted back and hit me in the chest. My leather jacket stopped it and the bullet fell into my hand.

Took a shot to the The Eagles 90th anniversary 1933-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt and by the same token and leg that broke my tibia while serving in Iraq near Fallujah, best I can say it was like someone gave me a Charlie horse punch there and I was confused because I couldn’t stand up afterwards, took me a little bit to realize what had happened. Adrenaline stops pain in the moment. When you get a chance to breath though, holy hell does it hurt bad. I was outdoors target shooting and shooting at my own steel targets. I thought I was at a safe distance when I fired my AR15 but a fragment of shrapnel from the .223 bullet hit me on the stomach. It was enough to burn a hole in my shirt but thanks to my big fat belly, I only sustained a red welt. The feeling was instantly hot but not overtly painful – felt more like a pinch. I’m pretty sure if I had a six pack of abs, I’d be dead.
