I find it fun when I challenge myself to push my limits, but when it is the The Devil Saw Me With My Head Down and Thought He’d Won Until I Said Amen T-Shirt Also,I will get this same repetitive thing, it’s a chore. Also if I am using an old machine (which I am now) it is much worse than it should be So some may disagree with how I do things, but I plan like 20 videos, write scripts on them all, record all the footage needed(I make gaming videos, so that part it pretty much play video games) Then I decide which vids would go best with my schedule, which is a busy schedule of 3 vids a week, but that is just me haha but I edit the footage down, and record voiceover. I then do everything else, like thumbnails or maybe the certain info of the vid so I can copy and paste it while doing the uploading. Once everything other than the video is done, I cut up the footage, taking out where the game lagged, or maybe I did something embarrassing. If something cool or interesting happened while recording, I am sure to add that in. Really I just cut everything I personally find boring or bad about the footage out. Then I put some vocal make up on my voiceover, like some added bass or take some treble out so I don’t sound like a child for some reason. Then I just run through the video adding certain cuts or add ins to make the video a little bit funnier. Finally everyone likes music, so I throw some custom music in the background, something not to fast or anything that takes away from my voice(then I have to go through listening on my TV rather than Headphones, as sometimes headphones are too nice, and it ends up sounding bad on the T Once I am done with the editing though, everything else is too and I just have to export and upload at that point.

Because I am with you on editing maybe not being the most boring, but tedious in which it feels never ending so I like leaving that until last! I have heard that before haha, with the process it feels like I am just uploading videos when the day comes! Plus I wanted to get a good amount of vids up before I started a schedule, then somehow a schedule started and I have a few good fans who I don’t want to let down by changing it. Editing was my main challenge when starting youtube – my process is cutting the clips i want, doing another watch through to see if theres clips i dont want or bits i included which dont add anything. Then adding the backing track, transition effects and then individually going through each clip. I normally have some kind of afk game in the background like hearthstone battlegrounds or Teamfight Tactics because it can get tedious, but i really enjoy editing atm i don’t find editing necessarily boring but i think out of everything it’s the thing that most feels like work (however if i had the choice to edit over going to my actual job i would choose it 100%) but i also make it easy for myself. i have a gaming channel, and if i know i’m not gonna include that part (like it’s not exciting, or it’s just me setting something up within the game or whatnot) then i just won’t speak, so my first “step” i guess of editing is to just take out every single “silent” part from my videos. then i will watch it in full and everytime i need to edit something out (a stutter, a cough, a moment that’s boring/unnecessary) and then when i upload it to youtube i’ll watch it one more time in two times speed to make sure i’ve caught everything and the video is how i want it. obviously there’s more steps if i want to add in footage from somewhere else (like maybe a meme or something idk i don’t do it often) or text or a photo, but i guess that’s pretty self explanatory as to where that shows up in my process. i honestly really don’t mind editing however it can get tiring to do, i thought my biggest problem with editing would be the sound of my own voice but i got over that realll quick.
