Ever since I got my very first cellphone, I’ve kept them all on vibrate after witnessing how obnoxious people with ringtones were all my adult life. I’ve never met anyone under maybe 35 that likes phone calls. Everything is text or instant messaging or maybe FaceTime like stuff When guardians of the The Burn Burn Burn Tour 2023 zach bryan T-Shirt and I will buy this galaxy vol 1 came out my husband made me an “I am groot” ring tone. 3 phones later and it is still my ring tone. I don’t get a ton of calls, spam and a few friends with a few work calls thrown in. EVERYONE looks when it happens. Yeah that’s me. I have specialty rings for my two kids (TARDIS dematerialization and Darth Vader Imperial March, to match their fandoms). A musician friend has the radio show opening ID that I made for his radio show that aired on on my radio station. I customized my ringtones as soon as I got an iPhone, stock ringtones are shit, plus I come from the crazy frog days. my ringtone is a clip of birds singing. on the rare occasion that its not on vibrate and it goes off in public, no one clocks it as a ringtone — the reaction is more “huh, where are those bird noises coming from?” followed shortly by, “oh that’s your phone? kinda nice” Hey. My ringtone is Frank Underwood’s ringtone..which is the default Blackberry ringtone..I have an iPhone. I care a little.

Still got the The Burn Burn Burn Tour 2023 zach bryan T-Shirt and I will buy this custom ringtone and notification. If you hear Sonic collecting a ring, that’s me getting a message. I figured out how to turn a song into a ringtone in iTunes so those are still in heavy rotation. How else will I know it’s my parents calling if I don’t hear the Imperial March? That being said, my phone is always on silent and even if I notice it’s ringing I still won’t answer it. I have ringtones on my phone for this precise reason, I want to know it’s my phone that’s ringing. I have a few different ones, right now it’s the Goosebumps theme song. My text sound is the AIM sound and my email is the, “you’ve got mail” AOL sound. I recently changed my ringtone to the old fashioned physical phone ringtone. I didn’t buy it though, it was one of the many free options.
